Six-Month Update

We can't believe it's already been six months since our trip -- as I write this our cuckoo clock just rang, "Eins, Zwei..." -- and most of the memories are still fresh. Mostly because I have been working on (and just finished) putting all 1,000 pictures, with captions, in a photobook. I also took every receipt and brochure and scrapbooked about 30 pages! Lately, I've been working on converting the 4 hours of tape onto DVD and also concocting a smaller, flashier movie of the trip for our family.

However, we are itching to return again -- flights are about $700-$800 for coach, and there are so many wonderful places we want to see again! I've been working extra hard on my German lately. Werden Sie bitte langsam sprechen? Gibt es ein Schwimbad? Um wie viel uhr ist das Frühstuck?

Unfortunately, this means there may be more to come and the title of this website may turn to "Deutschland 2007"...
